It’s the Chinese New Year’s Eve. I dressed casually to work today since it was a half day. I am looking forward to meeting my sister as I have not seen her for ages. We met at a nearby restaurant near my workplace to eat Japanese fusion food. The curry beef rice and the pizza bread were awesome.
As many stores were starting to close, I didn’t chance upon any Kotex advertisements on the way home from work. I am starting to feel that my period is coming any time. So, I decided to wear pantyliners just in case it comes today or tomorrow.
My period has finally arrived and thank God I have worn panty liner, if not I would have dirtied my sleeping shorts.
I went for hot yoga classes in the morning, so I had my comfortable yoga clothes on (luluemon top and tights). Yoga is my main form of exercise as I enjoy the movements that make my body more resilient. I am worried that there might leakage during my yoga class with all that rigorous movements.
I met my sister at the nearby café near my house to have a brunch bite. I ate French toast today as I was craving for something sweet, since I have been eating a lot of salty food recently.
After brunch, I went to the supermarket to buy some groceries and I chanced upon the sanitary pads section. The Kotex brand was eye catching as I am drawn to the cotton designs as well as the colourful packaging.

Today is hiking day with my colleagues! I wore a pair of sporty tights and a tank top as the day was hot. Since I would be spending the day at the hill, I brought sandwiches and fried rice to last the day.
Since it was my second day of period, I was worried of leakage and there is very few toilets at the hill to change my pad. I didn’t encounter any Kotex advertisements today.

I am feeling tired from yesterday’s hike. Today is chillax day, so I will be walking around my house area to eat nice restaurant food. I am wearing a pair of black pants and a silver top today, something stylish to fit into the restaurant code.
I settled for a Mexican restaurant, called Japas, and ordered Chicken fajitas. My sister joined me later for shopping.
At night, we went to a thai restaurant also near my house. We ate grilled thai chicken and mango sticky rice.
My sister used Kotex pantyliners today as I could hear the toiletries cabinet opening and the ripping of the wrapper from the pantyliner.

Today is another shopping day for me. I wore a pair of loose harem printed pants.I met up with my childhood piano teacher for lunch at restaurant in town to eat congee and wanton mee. Then we headed down to a nearby café to drink coffee and eat twister fries. Since I was out the whole day with my teacher, I didn’t exercise. But my feet were hurting from wearing heels the whole day. At night, I ate japanese steamboat with my family for our chinese new year celebration dinner. It is the heaviest flow for me today and I worry that there might be leakage when I sleep at night. This is despite I am using the Kotex overnight pads. I wonder if there might be other brands that can give a more assuring product. I was starting to feel reluctant to go back to work tomorrow as it has been a long and fun weekend to hang out with my friends and sister.

Work has started after a long holiday and I am not in a good mood at all. I wore a dress with black tights to look professional at work. I ate lunch with my colleagues at an Indian buffet joint and avoided drinking my usual coffee, as I want to be less dependent on coffee for awhile. I am still worried that there might be leakages.

I am finally in the mood to start work today. Since I am in a good mood today, I decided to break my no-coffee diet and patronize my favourite café, Eat Right, to buy lunch and drink Toby’s Estate coffee, during lunch time. What a treat! I am glad that the weather these days has been cooling especially during lunch times.
After work, I headed over to the supermarket to buy groceries to cook for dinner. I saw the same Kotex stand again and contemplated if I needed more pads. However, the ones that I prefer were not on sale, so I decided to delay my purchase. No rush for me anyway.
